Quad City Storm Won Game 1 Of The Playoffs

In a heart-pounding ending, the Quad City Storm beat the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs in a come-from behind win. Going into the 2nd period, the Storm trailed 0-2. A goal from Logan Nelson got the momentum started in Period 2. Period 3 saw a game-tying goal from Leif Mattson, and then an overtime wrap-around goal just 2:53 into the overtime period from Hayden Hulton sent the Rail Yard Dawgs home.

They'll play again in Roanoke on Friday, and if needed, Saturday as well. The SPHL Playoffs are best 2/3.

3,334 Storm fans went all out on a Tuesday night - including Hairball, who showed up wearing every piece of Storm merch he could find in his closet.

Mexican News Station Showed Testes Instead of Eclipse

A TV Station in Mexico was showing videos of the eclipse sent by viewers and someone sent in that video going around of some guy's balls blocking out a light, and it made it on the air.

Road Trips With The Kids

Telling stories of road trips (both best and worst), one listener called and talked about how her family does unplanned road trips. Load themselves up and hop in the car and just go. She took a book with her called Amazing Places to Take Your Kids that they'd check for stuff around the areas they'd be in.
