Maple Leafs' Morgan Rielly Doesn't Like Empty Net Slapshot
The other night, Ottowa Senators' Ridley Greig went for an empty net goal, but took a slapshot from just feet away - and Morgan Rielly of the Toronto Maple Leafs didn't let that slide.
He went to where Greig was, and crosschecked him in the head. Now, the NHL Player Safety Committee has handed Rielly a 5 game suspension in the hearing he had yesterday.
Your Only Exception From Fasting Today
According to Archbishop Greggy D, you should fast today since it is, after all, Ash Wednesday, but you may break your fast - only if it's at the Elmore location of Chipotle in Davenport between the hours of 4-8pm.
Get a giant burrito and help out Davenport Central's JROTC program.
Crush Soda Is Missing Out
Crush should be capitalizing on the idea of "Send Your Crush a Crush" on Valentine's Day. They should be doing specialty cans with hearts and a bunch of mushy gushy messages - kids at schools at least would bounce for it.
Genius, and they're missing money.
People Behaving On A Flight
Just kidding, we wouldn't be talking about it they were.
Two passengers came to blows about an hour after takeoff on a flight to Hawaii from Oakland, forcing other passengers and crew members to separate the two.
“I heard yelling, screaming and punches. I turned around and saw one man bleeding and then the other man being separated,” passenger Jim Wieder told Hawaii News Now
“Our department has zero tolerance for violent or unruly behavior aboard an aircraft. If you act out on an airplane, you can face criminal prosecution and fines up to $37,000,″ the US Department of Transportation posted on X.
The flight was supposed to last only 5 hours.
