Scuzz TV and Metallica

While discussing Metallica and Robert Trujillo joining the band in the departure of Jason Newstead, one of the quotes Dwyer found was from something called "Scuzz TV" so of course, we had to figure out just what that was.

"Scuzz was a British 24-hour rock and metal music television channel owned and operated by Sony Pictures Television. It was launched on 17 April 2003 and went on to be the highest-rated rock TV station on the Sky satellite platform, available in over 12 million homes in the UK and Ireland," according to Wikipedia.

Here's a little awkward of an interview between Scuzz TV's host named 'Beans' and Fred Durst and Wes Borland.

No, It's NOT AC/DC

Dwyer played a song this morning that the majority of people hearing it (including everyone in the studio here) thought was an AC/DC deep cut that didn't get a lot of air time.

Turns out, it's not at all - it's a band called Krokus, and the song in question was Long Stick Goes Boom.

Wheeled Shovels Review By Arnold

After a challenge was laid on a caller who said his nephew's godfather was Mark Storace from Krokus to have him call us by 10am, we had great success when the phone rang, and it was "Mark Krokus."
