Washington Teen Arrested For Car Theft Found Wearing Underwear On Face
Pasco Police arrested a 15-year-old teenager last night for attempted car theft, after he was found with underwear over his face as a makeshift mask.
When and Where Did This Happen?
The incident unfolded around midnight when the owners of CM Motors, located at 200 S 20th, reported suspicious activity on their premises. According to reports, the owners witnessed someone breaking the windows of two KIA vehicles in an attempt to steal them.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers intercepted the thief as he was attempting to flee in one of the stolen vehicles. However, their patrol car blocked his escape route, causing the suspect to abandon the car and flee on foot into the nearby neighborhoods north of 20th and Lewis.

Pursuit On Foot
A dramatic pursuit ensued as officers chased the suspect through multiple backyards and over several fences. Ultimately, the teenager was apprehended hiding under a boat in one of the yards.
The suspect was found to be wearing underwear over his face as a makeshift mask. Despite the incredulity of the situation, Pasco Police confirmed that this detail was indeed true.
The juvenile, whose identity has not been disclosed due to legal reasons, was booked into juvenile detention on two counts of attempted auto theft.
