We've heard plenty of stories of people hurt, injured, or even killed by runaway wheels on the interstate. It's a huge danger with the high speeds and unpredictability of a tire rolling free at 70+ miles per hour.

A new video from California over the weekend is enough nightmare fuel after the dashcam video shows a Final Destination-esque crash.

The video shows a Kia Soul driving down the Ronald Regan Freeway when a truck in the lane next to it suddenly loses its wheel.

The problem with this, is that the wheel pops off the truck in exactly the right spot to not allow the Kia driver to react in any way.

As the wheel makes contact with the front of the Kia, it forces its way under the car, acting as a fulcrum, effectively launching the car into the air.

The Kia comes down from the height of two of itself stacked on top of each other, at least 10-15 feet, and lands on its nose.

The car rolled back onto its wheels and slid to a stop, spinning back to the direction of the flow of traffic. Just to add insult to injury, once the Kia came to a stop, the tire caught back up and made one more blow to the back end of the Kia for good measure.

According to Storyful, the driver of the Kia walked away from the crash with no major injuries.
