A woman was arrested after she got naked in a hotel lobby, threw alcohol bottles at guests, and blamed it on her "lord and savior, Michael Jackson."
Chaos at Washington, D.C. Hotel Ends in Arrest
A 31-year-old woman is facing several charges after police say she stripped naked inside a hotel and began throwing bottles of alcohol at staff and guests in what authorities describe as a racially charged incident.
Officers responded to the Hilton Garden Inn on New Jersey Avenue NW around 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, following reports of a disorderly individual. Callers reported a woman removing her clothing inside the hotel before becoming aggressive and destructive.
Nude Disruption in Hotel Lobby
When police arrived, they were directed to the far end of the hotel lobby. There, they found shattered glass and damaged bar property scattered across the floor. The suspect, later identified as Husani Cacho, was seated completely nude at a high-top table, surrounded by staff.
According to the police report, when officers questioned her, Cacho made bizarre statements, claiming her actions were instructed by "my lord and savior, Michael Jackson." She allegedly admitted to throwing objects and made racially charged remarks targeting white individuals, saying, "I wish I got all of them" and "I'm racist as f***."
Witnesses told officers that before their arrival, Cacho had already been briefly detained outside the hotel while naked, lying on a towel. She then re-entered the building, went behind the bar, and began throwing alcohol bottles at both patrons and employees while continuing to jump over the bar.
Facing Multiple Charges
Cacho was arrested and charged with simple assault (with a hate/bias enhancement), destruction of property (also hate/bias related), lewd conduct, unlawful entry, and disorderly conduct. She was taken to the First District Station for booking.
Authorities have not released further details about injuries or possible court dates. The incident remains under investigation.
