Two Marine Aviators Ground in Connection With Penis Flight Path
Last month, somebody noticed that a flight path over southern California resembled a male sex organ. Two Marine Corps aviators have been grounded because of it.
Tuesday the Marine Corps announced that two aviators were grounded while an investigation of the penis-shaped flight pattern continued. No disciplinary or administrative action will be taken until the probe is completed.
The aviators are part of the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing out of Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego. In October, they took a T-34C Turbomentor and flew it in a suggestive pattern.
“The T-34C crew that are being investigated for flying a pattern resembling an obscene image are currently not flying pending the results of an ongoing investigation," a spokesperson said. "Although not flying for the time-being, the two Marine Corps aviators are still providing vital squadron ground support functions.”
