The Whisky Advent Calendar

When I was little we had a Christmas countdown hanging on our wall.  My mom would tie a piece of candy for each day (Andes Mint, Chocolate Kiss or a Candy Can).  Each morning we'd get a nice little sugar rush before school.

Now that I'm older, I've passed along the candy advent thing to my kids...but I'm still needing that rush.  That "oh man...20 more days until Christmas" vibe paired with a delicious treat.
