Florida Woman Beat Store Clerk With Beef Stick After Theft

Pinellas Park: Police say a Florida Woman battered a convenience store clerk with a pair of Slim Jim beef sticks after being accused of shoplifting.

Woman Identified

The Florida woman was identified as 40-year-old Kacey Breazeale.

On Monday, Breazeale went into a CITGO gas station and began shoplifting. The 34-year-old female clerk caught her in the act and confronted her.

Police Enter The Scene

Officer Joshua Kokaisel of the Pinellas Park Police Department reported that Breazeale “pushed the clerk to get past” and then struck the clerk with 2 Slim Jim beef sticks she was stealing.”

Luckily, the clerk was not injured during the scuffle. Police arrived on the scene and caught Breazeale. She reportedly admitted to the battery after being read her rights.

Resisting a merchant

Breazeale is being held in the county jail in lieu of a $2,650 bond.

Turns out this Flordia woman has quite the record. Going back into her history as a St. Petersburg resident, police have found that she has a lengthy rap sheet that includes several state prison stays and convictions for cocaine possession, burglary, trafficking in stolen property, and theft.
