Lyft has been a blessing to many - simply order yourself a ride to wherever you're getting to - but one woman in Florida must not have understood that the person who brings the car also brings you to your location, they're not bringing you a car to take.

Authorities with the South Miami Police Department said that a Lyft driver was following their app's directions to the Family Dollar on SW 64th Street to pick up a woman named Lindsey Chrystyn Josefsberg.

Police said when the driver arrived, 37-year-old Josefsberg asked the driver for some help loading her bags into the Honda Accord. As the driver got out, and walked to the rear of the car to assist, the woman went to the front, got in the car, and sped away in the sedan.

Authorities took no time at all tracking Josefsberg down, because the driver's phone was still in the car. His girlfriend came to the store and helped police locate the woman by using Find My iPhone.

Following her location, police determined that Josefsberg simply just drove to her home. Officers pulled up to her house, and found the Honda sitting in the driveway. Josefsberg got into the car with some other people, and the officer conducted a traffic stop.

When pulled over, she admitted she stole the car, but that wasn't the end of her problems. During a search of her person, police pulled a pink glass pipe with what was supsected to be cocaine residue out of her purse, along with a Xanax pill.

Regardless of the car being stolen and the drugs, Josefsberg was not supposed to be driving as her license was suspended two years ago.

She was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $5,150 bond.
