A coworker of Mrs. Baker, Emily Latham, nominated her. This is what Emily had to say about her wonderful mentor:

"My favorite teacher is Bailie Baker. Bailie is a special education preschool teacher at Bridgeview Elementary in Le Claire, IA. She has been teaching for 11 years. She is my mentor for my first year being a teacher. She is the hardest worker I know. She is constantly advocating for her students and for other teachers around her. She is always coming in early and staying late to make sure everything is prepared for her students. She’s the best teacher I know!"

Mrs. Baker is a great colleague, mentor, and teacher. Awesome job, Mrs. Baker!
