Iowa Teacher Arrested For Teaching Math While Drunk
Police were called to West Central High School in Maynard, Iowa after reports that one of the teachers showed up drunk.
The responding officer found 49-year-old Daniel Reisner smelling of alcohol with bloodshot and watery eyes. The math teacher then failed the field sobriety tests.
A breathalyzer test at the Fayette County Jail showed that Reisner had a blood alcohol level of .091, well over the legal limit. He was arrested and charged with public intoxication.
