Heinz Debuts New Fry Box With Built-In Ketchup Holder
Heinz is attempting to solve the age-old problem of messy dipping with a new invention called the "Heinz Dipper." This specialized French fry container features a pull-out side compartment specifically designed to hold ketchup, making it easier for people to snack while moving.
A Smarter Way to Dip
The design maintains the look of a traditional fry sleeve but adds a hidden drawer on the side. This allows diners to dip their fries directly into a secure cup rather than struggling with messy packets or pouring sauce over the top of their food.
Limited Global Release
The new packaging arrived yesterday at various locations across 11 countries. However, you won’t find these at major fast-food chains like McDonald’s. In North America, the rollout is limited to select independent burger shops and major sports venues, most notably the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

A Temporary Trial
While the design is practical, Heinz is currently treating the Dipper as a promotional event. It is available only "while supplies last," serving more as a clever marketing stunt than a permanent change to food packaging.
