Cops in Florida are looking for a guy who destroyed multiple mailboxes with a riding mower last Friday. He crashed into one so hard, it flipped him over the mower.

San Carlos Park Residents Stunned by Unusual Incident

A quiet afternoon in a Florida neighborhood turned chaotic when a man riding a lawn mower went on a destructive rampage, mowing down multiple mailboxes along Robin Road. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the unusual act of vandalism, which was caught on video and has since left residents both outraged and bewildered.

Matt Clardy, one of the affected homeowners, described the incident as both shocking and strangely comical.

“It was egregious, absolutely disgusting, but it’s so funny. I can watch it 100 times,” Clardy said. Despite his amusement, he still hopes the individual responsible is caught.

Frustration Grows Among Neighbors

Other residents were less amused by the incident. Austin Bir, another neighbor, expressed his anger over the reckless destruction.

“(Expletive) you. I hope you at least paid for these mailboxes to be fixed. Definitely don’t hit my mailbox. And don’t hit my truck,” Bir said.

Justin Crawford took it a step further, arguing that the driver should face serious consequences.

“He should be arrested and thrown in jail for driving while intoxicated on a lawn mower,” Crawford said. “Be a man and turn yourself in. You shouldn’t be doing this.”

Authorities Searching for Suspect

In addition to the destroyed mailboxes, the lawnmower driver left behind a Pittsburgh Steelers hat and a pair of sunglasses, which deputies are now using as clues to identify him.

As the investigation continues, frustrated residents are calling for justice, hoping the man will be caught and held accountable for his actions. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office urges anyone with information to come forward.
