Florida Man Bleeding From Head Arrested And Kicked Off Plane
It all started when Eugenio Hernandez boarded the plane with a bandaged forehead, still bleeding from a hair transplant he had undergone in Miami. Despite having paperwork from his doctor stating he was cleared to fly, flight attendants were concerned about his condition. When passengers began voicing their worries about Hernandez's bleeding head, the situation quickly spiraled out of control.
Miami Couple Arrested After Hair Transplant Leads to In-Flight Drama
Hernandez and his wife were asked to leave the plane, but they refused, citing the doctor's clearance they had on hand. Tensions rose as the flight attendant insisted that they disembark, reportedly telling Hernandez that she didn't care about the doctor's note. Hernandez, feeling wronged, stood his ground, saying, "I paid for my flight. I don't have anything illegal on me. Everything is fine."
Things escalated when Loyola, who had also undergone cosmetic surgery, took to TikTok, livestreaming the ordeal to thousands of viewers. In the video, she expressed their frustration and claimed they were being discriminated against because of their post-surgery appearance.
Police Are Called To The Scene
As the confrontation continued, police were called to the scene. The officers tried to persuade the couple to leave the plane voluntarily, but when they refused, the situation turned physical. Video footage shows officers forcibly removing Hernandez from his seat as he screamed in pain, while Loyola, in tears, pleaded for them to stop, fearing for her husband’s safety due to his recent surgery.
Arrests Are Made
In the end, both Hernandez and Loyola were arrested for trespassing and resisting arrest. Their attorney, Michael Inglesia, argued that the couple was discriminated against based on their appearance post-surgery. He pointed out that they had gone through security without any issues and were even given priority boarding by American Airlines.
American Airlines, however, had a different take on the situation. In a statement, they claimed the couple became disruptive and non-compliant with crew instructions, leading to their removal from the flight. They apologized to their customers for the inconvenience but stood by their crew’s actions.
