Huge Moose Kung Fu Kicks Innocent Alaska Woman Out For A Walk
This is why you should never mess with a moose, they have crazy kung-fu skills.
In Anchorage, Alaska, an angry moose decided to take its anger out on an innocent woman as she was walking her dog down the sidewalk.
The woman's name is Tracy Hansen, and while walking her dog down the street she had no idea the huge moose was following her.
To her surprise, the moose ran up and proceeded to give her a strong kick in the back of the head knocking her to the ground.
"I thought someone had not been paying attention and hit me with a bike or something," Tracy Hansen said, "I had put my hands up to my head, and I’m like, ‘I’m bleeding.’"
When Hansen looked up she saw the huge moose walking in front of her and wondered if it was the moose that knocked her in the head.
Captured On Video
The violent moose encounter was captured on video by Kate Timmons, another resident of Anchorage Alaska.
As Timmons was passing by in a car, she pulled out her phone to record because she saw the moose following Hansen down the street.
"Watch out! Watch out!" Timmons yells at Hansen as the moose trotted closer and closer.
At that point, it was too late, the moose had struck Hansen down.
Timmons then shouted at the moose to "get going" and asked Hansen if she was OK.
"My husband was able to help pull her over the snow bank, so we could get her in the truck with her dog and kind of get her out of the way," Timmons told KTUU. "It definitely seemed unprovoked from our standpoint, and it happened so fast it was just like, a matter of getting her out of the situation, getting her help, making sure, you know, my big thing was that she didn’t have a head trauma, that there wasn’t a bleed or something."
Is She OK?
Hansen is still recovering from her injuries, according to NBC News. She said the incident will not stop her daily walks with her dog.
