If you hear about someone making their neighbors crazy by blasting music... well, this is NOT how you'd picture the people involved.

There's an 82-year-old woman named Stella Masson in Elrick, Scotland. And back in 2016, she had a falling out with the family that lived next door to her.

So Stella started torturing the family by blasting her music at all hours. What music? The stuff she loved from the 1920s, specifically a song called "The Laughing Policeman" by Charles Jolly.

And Stella was clearly blasting the music just to make her neighbors crazy.

When the cops finally showed up after more than a year of complaints, they found Stella had her speakers pointed at the wall toward her neighbor's house, and she was wearing earplugs.

Anyway, after two years of blasting her music, she was finally arrested last year on a charge of engaging in a course of conduct to cause fear or alarm. She pled guilty in court this week, and was fined $585.

She has also moved to a different part of Scotland.
