You Know You’ve Made It When…

I've said many times in this very space how lucky I am, and how grateful I am to be able to live in the greatest part of the country, and have a job that's not like work by any stretch of the imagination.

It affords me the perfect mix of celebrity and anonymity.  Case in point:  Here is my arm in a news story about the Veterans Home in Davenport that aired on KWQC!

When it aired last night, my whole family was gathered around the TV, waiting for my arm to appear on TV!  I felt like Mike Wazowski in Monsters, Inc. and when it appeared, all the family is cheering and high-fiving. For a guy who has his own radio show, I still get giddy when I get a shot on TV.
