When it's late at night, and you've had a drink or six, nothing hits your stomach better than some midnight McDonald's. Plus, the upside is, that those three cars in front of you are going to take 45 minutes, giving you time to sober up for your drive home. What do you do if they tell you they're not taking orders right now?

A clip uploaded to TikTok from @quezgreer has been viewed 670,000 times shows a woman standing in the drive-thru window, asking if it's okay for her to come inside and make food for herself.

According to the text on the video, the restaurant had run out of sanitary gloves, preventing them from being able to safely make food for customers.

“Lady climbs thru McDonald’s window because we’re not taking anymore orders CAUSE we have no gloves,” the overlay reads.

After the woman climbs up and through the drive-thru window, she starts clapping for herself and asks for the manager on duty.

“It’s my first day of training,” she says, hoping that that would make it okay for her to make her own food.

“She climbed all the way through that window, let her make it LMFAO,” one urged.

According to McDonald’s website, it is policy to not serve customers through the drive-thru window when they aren’t in a vehicle. “For safety reasons, we cannot serve pedestrians and vehicles at drive-thrus. However, at some restaurants, where the layout permits, we have installed a small number of separate pedestrian walk-up windows that are open outside of core restaurant hours (for those restaurants that operate a 24-hour drive-thru).”
