Winter Wine Experience Happens at River Music Experience This Saturday

The River Music Experience's biggest fundraiser of the year happens this weekend and helps support some great educational programs in the Quad Cities.

The 10th Annual Winter Wine Experience starts at 7 P.M. this Saturday, January 19th on the second floor of RME. Tickets are $35 if you buy them in advance and $40 at the door. Listen to 97X all week for your chance to win some for free!

The wine tasting is held from 7 to 8:30 and the after party kicks in immediately after. The Meyers Brothers & Charlotte Boyer will be playing tunes during the tasting and, for the after party, Breakdown will play. Breakdown is a Tom Petty tribute featuring members of the Jason Carl Band.

Wines from all around the world will be featured for tasting, hors d'oeuvres will be served, and some cool items are up for auction. You can bid on signed guitars from Leon Russell and Sublime with Rome, a year’s worth of concerts in the Redstone Room, a Joe Bonamassa concert package for the Adler, and a bunch of other stuff.
