When Nikyta Moreno noticed her ex-husband in the New York Times' Wedding section, she realized what she had suspected was true; he had been cheating on her.

"According to the article, the couple, Rob and Lauren, started their relationship in January 2017. It also said that he had never been married. That was news to me — because I was his wife in January 2017," she wrote in a piece for NY Post.

She said they split in March of 2017, and officially divorced in January of 2018, but she never quite fully understood why they did, but she does now.

Rob met Lauren at his gym, where he approached her and they exchanged contact info. The wedding entry ended with Rob saying Lauren is “the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. This is the most meaningful, deep connection I’ve ever had.”

Nikyta Moreno said she and Rob had a civil ceremony in 2015, and had plans for a larger ceremony in August of 2017, until he broke off the marriage in March of that year.

"He was my best friend, and my whole life was destroyed," she said in the Post. "But I knew something else was wrong. I suspected he had cheated on me, but when I confronted him about it, he never quite answered me."

Most of the readers of Nikyta's article want to know if Lauren was aware of the marriage, or if she is just finding out through the article in the Post.
