QC Haunts presents a Til-Midnight Paranormal Investigation at the Haunted YMCA in Rock Island!

If you've heard the stories about the Haunted YMCA Rock Island (D. Vinar Furniture building), you know this is THE place to go to experience haunted activity. You don't want to miss this event!

Get into the Halloween spirit this weekend with an all-evening paranormal investigation at Vinar Furniture, the old YMCA building in Rock Island, IL! This is a fundraising event for the Dan Vinar Furniture building that will take place Saturday, September 17th, from 7 p.m. - midnight.

People new to investigating are welcome and will learn how different tools are used. Experienced paranormal investigators are free to bring their own equipment.

The building "was built in 1912 as a YMCA and opened its doors in 1913. It was a stop for railroad workers, military personnel, and men that needed a place to stay. In the early days, we were told some of the Y's were fronts for speakeasies and brothels. They used to hold dances on the main floor. The building is 50,000 sq feet."
