How It Started

It all began late one night when a stranger reached out to her through a lost and found pets Facebook page, informing her that the little creatures had gone astray on South Pinemont Drive. Clemens hastened to the location only to discover that they had taken an unfortunate plunge into the drain.

Nevertheless, her fearlessness shone through as she recollected having previously retrieved kittens from such underground crevices.

When questioned on her unwavering dedication, Clemens simply said that she could not bring herself to turn down the plea for help after hearing the pups' plaintive cries.

The volunteers have been using sounds to lure out the puppies from the underground. To locate the remaining puppy, volunteers worked tirelessly through the night, battling water and insects in the search.

"There's a lot of cockroaches, you just have to avoid them, you just go fast," Clemens said.

Everyone is hopeful that the team will soon discover and rescue the trapped puppy.
