Snowboarder Breaks Speed Record Being Towed By Maserati
Joe Walsh's Maserati may have done 185--but in all fairness he wasn't pulling a snowboarder to a new world record.
British snowboarder Jamie Barrow just broke his own Guinness World Record by going 30 MPH faster than his previous run. It took a Maserati Levante to get him going that fast.
The SUV towed him across a frozen lake in St. Moritz, Switzerland and hit a top speed of 94.18 MPH on the first run and 92.99 MPH on the second run.
"I'm absolutely delighted to have broken my own record. I always knew there was much more speed possible with the right conditions and, crucially, the right car to tow me," Barrow said.
