Bear Killed After Biting Old Lady
A bear who got into a dollar store in New Jersey bit a 90 year old lady.
A few hour earlier, the bear had been playing in traffic, so police shot him with some rubber bullets to drive him back to the woods.
Then, they got the call about the old lady. So, after they got it out of the store, they put it down and sent it off for rabies testing.
Gene Learned Humility From Ozzy
Gene Simmons in an interview said he learned humility from Ozzy Osbourne.
“It’s a good lesson for idiots like me who sometimes, guilty as charged, get full of themselves and say, ‘Wow, I’m Gene Simmons,’” he continues. “And if you would have met Ozzy, you know, you’re on your best behaviour. You try to, because it is a big deal.”
Erik Maitland
Erik Maitland came in today to talk not about weather, but about his summer with the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
He spent the summer training and now he's all certified to work with the Coast Guard on the river.
We asked Erik Maitland what he uses when he's not at the KWQC Weather Center is either the NOAA Storm Prediction Center or LightningMaps.org
