QC Storm Will Paint the Ice For Veterans and Active Military

The Quad City Storm is allowing Quad Citizens to come to the TaxSlayer Center Tuesday, November 5th between 10am-7pm to write the name of a loved one who is a veteran or active duty military on the ice. The ice will then be sealed over, so the writing will be preserved.

They'll also be wearing special edition jerseys, which will be auctioned off to raise money for Guide Dogs for America.

Earlier this year, they held a similar event where they allow those who's friends and family have been affected by cancer, where different colored ink was representative of different types of cancer. I can imagine the ice will look similar to this.
