
Quad City Storm Honors Hockey History With Three-Game Weekend Series
The Quad City Storm is preparing for an action-packed home stand at the Vibrant Arena at The MARK. Starting Friday, January 9, the team kicks off a three-game series against the Pensacola Ice Flyers featuring a unique historical rebrand and a special youth leadership event.

Friday night marks the return of the "QC Kids Run the Show" game, a collaboration with Vibrant Credit Union and Junior Achievement. Local students will step into professional roles, ranging from broadcasting to coaching.
"Kids Run the Show gives young people a chance to build leadership skills, try new challenges, and have a whole lot of fun doing it," said Matt McCombs, Vibrant Credit Union President and CEO.
Celebrating 30 Years of Hockey

On Friday and Saturday, the team will transform into the "Quad City Fire Quackers." This identity honors three decades of local history, blending the legacies of the Mallards and the Flames. Fans can expect a new logo, specialty merchandise, and commemorative jerseys.
(The Storm is NOT legally changing its name to the Fire Quackers. It is only a theme for two games to honor the history of Quad City Hockey.)
Sunday Faith and Family Day

The weekend concludes Sunday, January 11, with a 2:10 PM matinee designed for local congregations and students. The Storm is offering free admission to all fans aged 16 and under. Additionally, high school and college students can receive a free ticket by presenting a valid student ID at the box office.
