Quad City Storm Gear Up for Final Home Weekend Before the Holidays
The Quad City Storm is heading into a three-game homestand after splitting their two-game road series against the Knoxville Ice Bears. The team has now won two of its last three and looks to carry that momentum into a busy weekend at Vibrant Arena at The MARK.
Rock n’ Roll Night Kicks Off the Weekend — Dec 12
The Storm hosts the Birmingham Bulls on Friday and Saturday, marking the first meeting of the season between the teams. Friday is Rock' n’ Roll Night, featuring a free postgame concert by Saints of Sabbath, described as “one of the country’s premiere Black Sabbath cover bands.” The night is presented by Astra Furniture.
Mascot Party and Jersey Giveaway Saturday — Dec 13
Saturday’s game doubles as a celebration for Radar’s Birthday, with ten visiting mascots joining the fun. “The first 500 kids in attendance receive a youth Storm jersey,” courtesy of Tyson, the game’s sponsor.
Holiday Festivities and Dog-Friendly Sunday — Dec 14
The homestand wraps up Sunday when the Storm take on the Evansville Thunderbolts. Santa will be on site for free photos, and fans can enjoy a postgame on-ice autograph session with players. Dogs are welcome with proof of rabies vaccination, and the arena will feature Christmas lights throughout the weekend. These will be the team’s final home games before the Christmas break, with the Storm returning to home ice on December 26.
