Dear Everyone Within the Sound of My Voice: Let's stop the online petitions. They never work. Especially if your goal is to make someone rewrite a movie or TV show that's already done.

The latest is a futile attempt to make Marvel shoot a new ending to "Avengers: Endgame" where the Avenger who heroically sacrificed himself at the end actually lives.

The fool who wrote it says, "He didn't deserve [to die] and it's not fair, after everything he's been through, and done for everyone, he deserves to live and see his daughter grow up.

"He's so important. He saved our lives and it's our turn to save him... Without him, now, we are totally lost. For many people, he was their reason to live and hold on in life."

The idiocy of it all hasn't stopped tens of thousands of people from signing it. If you're one of them, might I suggest you start writing fan fiction? That way, everything can happen exactly as you want it to, every time. And I'm sure it'll be amazing.

(Spoiler Alert:  You can check out the petition here.)
