Million Trees Project 2018 with Living Lands and Waters

Living Lands & Waters is looking for able-bodied volunteers who can handle bending over for substantial periods of time to help plant acorns. Replenishing trees that are native to this area is important to the wildlife and for soil preservation.

If you're up to the task they may ask you to load buckets of acorns, lay acorns in furrows, place acorns in single file and cover the acorns with mulch.

LL&W will provide gloves, drinks, lunch and music.  The Million Trees project will take place at 6000 Eastern Ave in Davenport, IA on November 3, 2018.
