Iowan Busted Breaking into Waterpark and Stealing Funnel Cakes

20-year-old Dylan Anthony Hoffert in Waterloo was arrested this week for breaking into a waterpark and stealing "an undisclosed amount of funnel cakes."

The incident happened back on July 6th, Hoffert and three others broke into Lost Island Waterpark early in the morning. The group took $300 worth of funnel cakes and ice cream, to make matters worse they left the freezer door open.

Authorities were able to use surveillance footage to identify and bring in Hoffert. In the videos he was seen wearing a bandana that also shows up in a bunch of his Facebook photos. He was arrested on Sunday for third-degree burglary.
