Inattentive Driver Slams Into Semi on Highway 30

A traffic camera on U.S. 30 near Ames caught footage of a vehicle slamming into the back of a semi trailer.

The Iowa Department of Transportation says that the semi had just pulled onto the highway and had not yet gotten up to speed. Only minor injuries were reported in the accident.
