Idiot Robbing Multiple Banks In One Day Finally Caught By Police
A man in Toronto decided to perform the ultimate job. I mean, the ultimate crime. Robbing multiple banks in one day.
59-year-old John Tiano went on a shopping spree, I mean, a robbery spree through five banks and three financial service companies between Saturday, November, 12, and Monday, November 14.
City News confirmed the locations, "Seven of the robberies took place in Toronto in the Yorkville, Downtown-Yonge, Islington-City Centre West, and Regent Park areas. One robbery took place in the Dundas Street East and Dixie Road area of Mississauga."
Tiano decided to pursue his robberies the old fashion way. By sliding the bank teller a note demanding cash.
Toronto Police Operations tweeted this during the robbery to keep everyone updated:
Police said Tiano fled with a large quantity of cash at some of the institutions.
Fortunately, he wasn't a bank-robbing professional because Tiano was eventually caught by police.
At the time of his arrest police found Tiano was in possession of stolen cash.
Tiano is facing eight counts of robbery with an offensive weapon, three counts of utter threats, and one count of being in the possession of proceeds of crime.
