It can't be good for your self esteem when somebody calls you Bigfoot, but it's 1,000 times worse when you're mistaken as Bigfoot and shot at.

A 27-year-old man called 911 in Helena, Montana to report that he'd been shot at. He was setting up some targets in the foothills when he heard a bullet whiz past his head, then another, and then more as he ran for cover.

The guy confronted the shooter, who said he shot because the guy was "not wearing orange and thought he was Bigfoot."

For the guy who got shot at, it's bad to know that you resemble Bigfoot enough to draw fire. And for the hunter who did the shooting, you think you see Bigfoot and your first instinct is to shoot him? That just ain't right.

Bigfoot didn't want to press charges, in fact he didn't even call the police until the next day. Cops aren't actively trying to track down the shooter.
