Food Trucks, Car Show, and Live Music At East Moline Freedom Fest

An awesome afternoon in East Moline is on the schedule for this Saturday, full of food, music, and cool cars.

August 19th is East Moline Main Street's Freedom Fest, and there's something for each member of the family.

Main Drag Car Show

The 15th Annual Main Drag Car Show will draw over 150 classic cars, newer modified cars, as well as show bikes and trucks.

Registration for the show is from 2-5pm. Dash plaques will be issued to the first 100 entrants, and Top 15 awards will also be given out at 7pm.

Other caption awards will also be given - Best of Show Bike, Best Custom Bike, Best Of: Ford, Dodge, GM, Import, Original, and Lowrider.

Vendors

Did you just get paid, and have some cash burning a hole in your pocket? Some of East Moline's most loved shops will be present.

Food and drink vendors will be present as well, with over 15 food trucks hanging out.

Music

Multiple music acts will be playing on the stage at Runner's Park.

The Blackstones will play from 1-4pm.

Then, DJ TJ Peeps will keep you entertained until The Bratt Pack takes the stage from 6-9pm.

Food Truck Competition

From 4-6pm, there's a Food Truck Competition hosted by Chef Keys. Food trucks and downtown establishments can compete for Best Main Course, Appetizer, Specialty Drink and Dessert.

A Chef's Choice Trophy will also be handed out to round out the awards.
