Florida Man Punches Girlfriend Over Missing Cookie

You're not you when you're hungry and Richard Hessic gets punchy when he doesn't get his cookies. The 31-year-old was arrested for domestic battery charge after punching his girlfriend.

Hessic said he argued with his live-in girlfriend over cookies. He was upset that someone had eaten the last chocolate chip cookie.

His girlfriend said that she, “did not want to argue over something so petty.” That's when Hessic got mad and punched her in the face for "blowing him off."

A judge ordered that Hessic not have contact with his girlfriend and be placed on house arrest.
