Florida Sheriff Makes Fun of Man Attempting Sex With Horse’s Nose
A 53-year-old man in Florida got arrested after his girlfriend caught him trying to get it on with a horse... specifically, with the horse's nose.
Horseplay Gone Horribly Wrong
A Lake Wales man, Donald Calloway (53), has been arrested on charges of sexual contact with an animal following a disturbing incident involving a horse named Raven. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office took Calloway into custody the day after Christmas after receiving a report from his girlfriend, who witnessed the alleged act.
Sheriff Grady Judd addressed the arrest in a morning briefing, expressing disbelief by simply stating, “Come on, man.”
Foal Play Suspected
According to the arrest affidavit, deputies responded to a call at a property on Spiker Lane after Calloway's girlfriend reported seeing him engaging in inappropriate behavior near her horse. She told authorities that Calloway exposed himself, stroked his genitals, and attempted to gain the horse’s attention by tapping its nose with his exposed penis.
The woman provided deputies with a recorded video of the incident, which corroborated her account. While it did not capture explicit penetration, the footage allegedly showed Calloway’s attempts to engage the animal’s attention.
During a recorded post-Miranda interview, Calloway admitted to making a “dumb decision,” citing sexual frustration as his motive, stating, “I haven’t had any sex in probably two months.”
(Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd posted one of his jokey videos about the arrest.)
Hay, That’s Illegal!
Sheriff’s deputies charged Calloway with sexual contact with an animal, a serious crime under Florida law. He was booked into the Polk County Jail following the incident.
Authorities emphasized that the investigation was thorough and handled with care given the sensitive nature of the allegations.
Sheriff Judd’s closing remarks highlighted the bizarre and unsettling nature of the incident, reiterating a commitment to protecting animals and enforcing the law. “This isn’t just illegal; it’s downright disturbing,” Judd said
.
Raven, a 24-year-old American Quarter Horse, was unharmed physically but remains under the care of her owner.
Calloway is expected to face a judge in the coming days as legal proceedings begin.
