Countdown Begins On New Oh So Sweet! Location, Jobs Available
A few months back, we brought you the news that Oh So Sweet! By Tiphanie was moving to a new location, and you can now set your clock for the countdown of this newly designed and reformed location of one of the QC's favorite bakeries.
The bakery will be closing the Main Street location and opening up a bigger, brand-new location at 210 East 2nd street in Downtown Davenport.
"A brand new space means a bigger space and a bigger space means a larger menu, more classes, new outdoor space, different events, more drink options, and stuff for kids," Tiphanie said of the new space.
She's looking to fill a few positions to help operate the new building, such as:
- Bartenders
- Dining Room Attendants
- Artisan Bread Bakers
- Front Counter Staff
- Cookie Decorators
- Cake Decorators
- Dishwasher
- Baker
- Line Cook
Tiphanie is shooting for an early March opening date, giving plenty of time to train her new staff to the quality that put her on the Food Network. That's right, we have a Food Network quality bakery right her in the Quad Cities.
We were able to get inside the new location as it closes on the one-month mark for its Grand Opening and check out how it's coming together.
Oh So Sweet by Tiphanie is known for their elaborate cakes, cookies, and other baked goods, like their internet-famous cookies that represent what hangs betwixt a man's legs, which we've had show up in our studio on occasion.
