Florida Woman Arrested After Drug-Fueled Flying Collared Greens Incident
Police in Florida had a call about an altercation at a home in Satsuma around 9:15pm on Monday, where a woman assaulted a couple people.
Deputies responded to the home of 58-year-old Wendy Leigh Messer, and were surprised by what they heard. One victim said that Messer threw a whole plate of collared greens at her, and also threatened to use a knife on her.
The other victim said that Messer came to her while holding a cast iron pan, threatening to use it on her.
The three were arguing about an unknown topic, but it escalated when Messer swung her hand close to one of the victim's face - just barely missing her nose.
Deputies went to put handcuffs on Messer, and she grabbed the pocket of her pants. When the deputies asked her about any illicit substances, she said "Maybe marijuana."
So, police searched her and found two glass pipes, with a residue commonly seen with the use of crack cocaine, and then they also found a white rock which, you guessed it, was cocaine.
Messer immediately gave the cops the classic line that works every time; "These aren't my pants" and "I'm being setup."
Deputies booked her with charges of battery, aggravated assault, and possession of cocaine.
