Camp Courageous Night At Modern Woodman Park This Saturday

The VFW of Iowa is hosting a fundraiser evening at the ballpark this weekend to support Camp Courageous. Catch the Bandits game while helping a great cause.

$35 gets to access to the Budweiser Club at Modern Woodmen Ballpark, Cornfield Deck and a general admission ticket if you'd like to sit outside. Food being served includes hamburgers, hotdogs, brats, coleslaw, chips, cookies, soda, and water. A cash bar is also available and 50/50 tickets will be sold for $1.

Camp Courageous has an urgent needs list that's filled with items that you can bring to donate. The list is as follows:

• Balloons
• Life jackets (all sizes)
• Sunscreen (SPF 30 and higher)
• Paper, white or bright colors (letter, legal, or ledger sizes)
• Sharpies
• Postage stamps
• Glue
• Spray bottles
• New t-shirts, cotton (all sizes)
• Antibacterial soap
• Dish soap
• Hand sanitizer
• Napkins
• Vinyl gloves
• Paper towels
• Paper plates
• Toilet paper
• Wet wipes
• Ziplock bags (gallon and quart)
