Blood Orange Pale Ale from Green Tree in LeClaire is What's Tappe

No, it's not an IPA...it's a Blood Orange Infused Pale Ale. A delicious, refreshing, aromatic pale ale from Green Tree Brewery in LeClaire.

Thanks to Doc for hooking us up with a growler and for making tonight's radio show more like a carnival ride than a job.

The first thing you notice when you crack this beer open is the amazing smell of oranges. The taste is just a good too with a super fruity (but not too fruity) taste and a bit of bitterness that makes you think of that bit of peel that gets left behind on the slices.

We've compiled a quick list (by no means comprehensive) of venues in the Quad Cities that are no longer music venues but to us will ALWAYS hold a special place were we saw some great shows and made some incredible memories.

To many of us the live music scene wasn't just a concert here & there. It was an every weekend affair. And it didn't matter if it was a touring band or your buddy's band. We were going to be there with a beer in hand and scream along with guitars that were way too loud in a room that was improperly treated acoustically and make some bad decisions.
