Beard Popularity is Killing the Razor Industry
There were a few decades there where beards weren't trendy, but they've been back for well over 10 years now, and it doesn't look like they're going anywhere. And it's killing the razor industry.
According to the latest studies, the number of times men shave in a month has gone from 3.7 times to 3.2 times over the last decade. That doesn't sound like a lot, but across hundreds of millions of people, it's really significant.
Because of that, razor sales just keep falling. In just the past year, they've dropped 5%. The industry believes its best chance of bouncing back is just trying to survive until the beard trend goes away.
