A Dad Leaves His Kids Locked in the Car to Get Drunk at a Bar So the Other Drunks Beat Him Up

Here's a fitting climax to all the stories about idiots leaving their kids locked in hot cars this summer.

28-year-old Joshua Delong of Ocala, Florida went to a bar this week, and took his thee kids with him, a five-year-old, a seven-year-old, and an eight-year-old. Then he left them locked in his gold Cadillac with the windows up while he went inside and drank.

Four hours later, he came outside to drive them home. But a security guard didn't want to let him drive, and spotted the kids in the car. So Joshua made a scene, and some of the other drunks in the bar headed over to see what was going on.

When they realized Joshua's kids had been stuck in his car the entire time he was in the bar they beat him up.

The police got there, took the kids to their mother, and took Joshua to the hospital. He was treated for all the injuries he got in the beating and was charged with three counts of child neglect.

As far as we know, the guys who beat him up are not looking at any charges.
