33% of Americans Believe UFOs Have Visited Earth and 16% Have Personally Seen One

Maybe this is why the plan to storm Area 51 got so much traction.

According to a new Gallup poll, 33% of Americans believe that UFOs have visited Earth. And 16% of people say they've personally seen one. That's around one out of every six people.

The survey also found 68% of people believe the government knows more about aliens than it's telling us. That's not too different from the same survey back in 1996, when it was 71%.
