20 years ago, on March 24th, 2001, Diamondbacks pitcher Randy Johnson went down in history for doing what was thought to be impossible.

As he threw a pitch (of which regularly rolled off his arm at about 100-103mph), a one in a billion chance bird happened to perfectly cross paths with the ball.

The ball and the bird collided, and with the grainy 2001 TV footage, apparently turned the bird to dust and feathers.

Obviously, the bird didn't make it. While many found the video humorous due to it's improbability, Johnson didn't think so.
