Zookeeper Saves Panda By Giving It The Heimlich Maneuver

A giant panda that lives in the zoo in China's life was saved by a zookeeper's quick action and speedy response when it began choking on a piece of a carrot.

A video shared to the China version of TikTok showed the incident that unfolded Saturday. The zoo gave the panda some carrots as a little treat, and apparently he got so excited he inhaled the carrot.

The zookeeper jumped into the enclosure as fast as possible, and slapped the bear on the back.

The slapping didn't free the carrot from the panda's windpipe, so he picked the bear up and performed the Heimlich maneuver on the bear.

He saved the bear, and the internet is loving him for it.
