She does not look sorry. No regrets. NO RE-GURTS!

It was back in November when Fifty-one-year-old Laurie Lynn Hinds walked into the funeral home.

According to an arrest affidavit, she made a beeline straight to the dead person in the casket and spit on the corpse.

A witness said that Hinds had strong hostility toward the family of the deceased.

Hinds was arrested and charged with state-jail felony abuse of a corpse on June 5. She posted a $2,500 bond the next day.

Texas law describes “abuse of a corpse” as any instance in which someone “disinters, disturbs, damages, dissects, in whole or in part, carries away, or treats in an offensive manner a human corpse.”
