Texas Woman Attacked a Wing Stop Manager for Taking Too Long On DoorDash Order
We don't know exactly what this lady was thinking. But I almost wish every delivery driver cared about my order this much . . .
Amarillo Texas
Amarillo authorities apprehended a female suspect for assaulting a manager of a local dining establishment.
Police responded to a trespassing call from Wing Stop located at S.W. 45th on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. They were informed on their way that the same woman was engaged in a physical altercation with the staff.
Furthermore, officials received information that the woman was now fighting with a Randall County deputy. Upon arrival, the officers aided the deputy in apprehending 33-year-old Whitney Paige Moffett.
Another Crazed DoorDash Driver
It was revealed that Moffett had been employed as a delivery driver for DoorDash, but reportedly flew into a rage when her order was not prepared upon her arrival.
Despite being asked to depart from the kitchen area, Moffett aggressively assaulted the store manager when she was unable to contain her temper.
While attempting to guide Moffett out of the premises, the store manager was persistently attacked by her. Luckily, an off-duty deputy happened to witness the altercation and quickly intervened.
Taken Into Custody
As a result of her unruly behavior, Moffett was taken into custody and booked into the Randall County Detention Center on charges of assault causing bodily harm and obstructing law enforcement.
The incident is being investigated by the Amarillo Police Department Violent Crimes Unit.
