When police arrived on the scene, the driver of the stolen car decided to make a leap of faith... or as we'd like to call it, a leap of stupidity.

The driver sped off to avoid the police but ended up hitting two other vehicles and then driving off an embankment.

Caught On Video

A video camera from a nearby house caught the stolen car falling 21.3 feet onto a house and another vehicle.

Watch the news clip here.

In the video, you can hear the loud crashing noise of the car slamming into the house and the glass of the windows shattering. Police can be seen running around the house screaming at the criminals to "GET ON THE GROUND!"

Imagine being the neighbor who witnessed this craziness happen AND got footage of the crash on your house camera.

Thankfully, no one in the house was harmed, and we suppose the car thieves were fine too because after making their crash landing they hopped out of the vehicle and ran.

Catching The Crooks

Police eventually managed to catch the runners.

The thieves were checked for injuries before police arrested the driver and a woman inside.
