Officials in Maricopa, Arizona have arrested a man who police believe left his finger behind while slashing his neighbor's car tires.

The Maricopa Police Department said Kevin Johnson was arrested and identified as the owner of the finger found in his neighbor's driveway.

Francesca Wikoff came out of her home on April 15th to find her tires had been slashed, and next to the tires, the finger.

"I literally have been laughing all day because if I don't, I might cry," Francesca Wikoff told CBS 5.

"It's pretty comical. You would think that if you're gonna go to the hospital, especially if you just severed your finger off, that you would take said finger with you," Wikoff said.

Wikoff and her husband had gotten into an argument with Johnson the night before, and there was seemingly a trail of blood leading from the finger into Johnson's house.

It's probably not that hard to match up a finger to a hand missing a finger.

Johnson is facing multiple charges, including criminal damage.
